Privacy Policy
How VuFairs handles personal information when you use the platform, request a demo or take part in an event.
1. Responsibility for your data
Litia Sh.P.K. manages personal data for platform accounts, demo enquiries, billing and platform security. For event registrations, applications and communications, the organizer’s responsibilities and ours depend on the purpose and the relevant agreement. Contact us to identify the responsible party for a particular event.
2. Information and purposes
Depending on the features you use, we process your name, email, organization and account details; demo preferences; billing details and transaction references; profiles, CVs, documents, applications and messages; and IP addresses, session, device and security logs. These support access, requested services, communications, payments, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.
3. Legal grounds
Processing is based on performance of a contract, a legal obligation, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service where applicable, or consent when required. You can withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Accepting the terms does not give unlimited permission for marketing.
4. Recipients and service providers
Organizers and authorized event representatives access information relevant to their roles. Applications can share the submitted profile and documents with the selected exhibitor. Published profiles and content are visible according to the event settings. Hosting and technical providers support service delivery; Amazon SES handles email, Cloudflare supports delivery and security, and PayPal processes payments made through it. Where AI features are used, their inputs may be processed through OpenAI. Do not submit third-party confidential information without authorization. Providers may process information outside your country; contact us for details about the relevant processing and safeguards.
5. Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose, account or event lifecycle, support needs, applicable accounting obligations and legal claims. Backups can have a separate retention cycle. Contact us about deletion or retention of particular records. Access controls and technical safeguards protect data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. We do not ask for card security codes or PayPal passwords through support.
6. Cookies and browser services
Session and security cookies support sign-in and operation; preferences may be stored in your browser. Technical delivery services and embedded third-party content may also receive connection information. You can manage cookies through browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other functions. This notice does not replace consent where consent is required.
7. Your rights and enquiries
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact [email protected]; we may request proportionate verification of identity. You may also complain to the competent supervisory authority, including the Information and Privacy Agency of Kosovo.
8. Updates
Material changes will be identified through the updated date and version. Event-specific notices and agreements may provide further information about the processing for that event.
